Labor Day Weekend! Hard to believe the summer has flown by. Among the many things to do on the East End for the holiday weekend is attending exhibition receptions opening new gallery shows in the Hampton, the North Fork and the East End at large. This weekend, art events and openings unfold from Friday through Sunday.

On  Friday, Greenport Village on the North Fork is the place to be to browse galleries and shops featuring design, high end crafts, handmade jewelry and more. On Saturday, East Hampton is the draw with two unique exhibition openings. Or, return to the North Fork for the opening of a two-person show of well-known artists across the East End. On Sunday, head to Riverhead for an "Artist In Residence" show at a vineyard. On Monday, consider seeing gallery shows without events.
