1. Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection at The Parrish Art Museum

Guided Tours of the Parrish Art Museum's Permanent Collection take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 27 and 28, 2016, from 2 to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the Permanent Collection and the 2016 Student Exhibition. Exhibitions from the museum's permanent collection include "Inscape—The Inner Nature Of Things"; "American Views"; "James Brooks: Process of Discovery"; "Connections and Context"; "Collective Conversation"; "Home Sweet Home"; "Picturing Artists"; "Jean-Luc Mylayne" and "Close to Home”. The exhibitions continue on view through October 30, 2016.

2. Library Wine Tasting at Wölffer Estate

A Library Wine Tasting takes place on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Wölffer Estate Vineyard. Visitors are invited to taste wine paired with artisan cheese with Wölffer winemaker and partner Roman Roth. Wines include 2002 Estate Selection Chardonnay, 2004 Wölffer Cabernet Franc, 2008 Wölffer Caya Cabernet Franc and 2001 Wölffer Premier Cru. The event is part of Long Island Wine Council Winterfest.

3. Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival Concert: Bach's World

"Bach's World" is presented on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church. The Baroque concert presents a musical portrait of the life and times of Johann Sebastian Bach and features pieces by Corelli, Telemann plus JS Bach, CPE Bach and JC Bach.

Tickets range from $40 to $50. Student tickets are $10. The Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church is located at 2429 Montauk Hwy, Bridgehampton, NY 11932. www.bcmf.org.

4. East End Music Film Series: Screening & Discussion of Voices of Sarafina at Bay Street Theater

Voices of Sarafina by Nigel Noble screens on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. Voices of Sarafina is a 1988 American documentary film about the anti-apartheid musical stage play Sarafina! The documentary profiles a troupe of South African teenagers who perform the Broadway play Sarafina! under the direction of writer-lyricist Mbongeni Ngema. Scenes of the play alternate with interviews with the performers as they tell their own stories of oppression suffered during South Africa's apartheid years. The film also documents how the actors' spirits are lifted when they meet the singer and social activist Miriam Makeba, who was once exiled from South Africa. A Discussion with Director Nigel Noble follows the screening.

5. JDTLab Concert Staging: ECO, a New Musical at Guild Hall

ECO, a new musical by Jenna Mate and Bethie Fowler, will be staged on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at Guild Hall. ECO is a young-adult musical about one girl’s journey through post-apocalyptic America. Eco, the main character is separated from her parents for much of her childhood and must make her way through a drastically altered future landscape to try and find them again.
