A ticket to the coveted Watermill Center Summer Benefit is a tough one to secure, for most. The wealthy, the famous and the connected attend a cocktail party and silent art auction with a dinner as separate event immediately following. The star attractions (besides the celebrities) are the endurance art performances staged throughout the outdoors benefit, most set within the partially wooded grounds. Now the general public gets their chance.

This Sunday, Watermill Center presents an adaptation during its "Discover Watermill Day" from 3 to 6 p.m. The event is free and family friendly. The grounds are open and feature art installations, performances, workshops, tours and family activities. Performances are by artists taking place in Watermill Center's International Summer Arts Program. They hail from over 30 countries.
