"Sherlock's Secret Life" opens with an aging Doctor Watson deciding to finally tell the story of Sherlock Holmes's very first case. This case was like no other and was filled with intrigue, mystery, love and plenty of comedic moments as Holmes and Watson come together to solve the mystery of a beautiful young woman who's lost her memory. The pair will face the man who will become Sherlock's arch-enemy: Professor Moriarty. They also have their first encounters with Inspector Lestrade and Mrs. Hudson.

"We guarantee that even the most rabid Sherlock Holmes fans will be on the edge of their seats," said producer Bonnie Grice, who plays the part of Mrs. Hudson.

"Sherlock's Secret Life" is directed by Josephine Teresi-Wallace. After acting in community theater for over 15 years, Teresi-Wallace made her directorial debut in 2018 in "The Red Badge of Courage," presented by Boots On The Ground Theater at the Southampton Cultural Center. She continues to tread the floorboard as an actress with her latest role in Fall 2019 in "The Little Mermaid" at SCC.

Set pieces and historically-inspired costume design for "Sherlock's Secret Life" are by Grice, the founder of Boots on the Ground Theater who is presenting the play in association with the Southampton Cultural Center.

"My mission in starting Boots On The Ground Theater has been to bring history to life, through great stories and period-inspired sets and costumes," Grice explained. "I want our audiences to travel back with us to another time. To be immersed in history and a lifestyle that may be centuries old but very new to us. There's so much to learn from history especially the Victorians. And who better than the legendary sleuth himself: Sherlock Holmes?! And look for some added steampunk elements in the costumes and set design. A tribute to the cutting edge history of Holmes."

The cast stars Dan Becker as the Older Watson, Thomas Schiavoni as Young Watson and Tom Rosante as Sherlock Holmes. The cast also features John Lovett, Bethany Trowbridge, Alyssa Kelly, Richard Gardini and Bonnie Grice.

"It's elementary dear theatergoer," Grice quipped. "You must not miss this! Order your tickets now! This will sell out."
