Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center hosts a trip to Guggenheim Bilbao in Spain coinciding with the arrival of the traveling retrospective "Lee Krasner: Living Color" to the art museum. The seven-day trip takes place July 13 - 19, 2020 and includes several noteworthy museums in Bilbao and the surrounding areas with personalized tours led by museum curators.
Reservations for the trip are due by October 30, 2019. A deposit of $1,500 is requested.
"Lee Krasner" opens at the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt on October 11, 2019 and travels to Bern in spring 2020. It will conclude its European tour in Bilbao in May-September.
The Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center Trip includes five nights at a luxury hotel in Bilbao, a private tour of the exhibition and excursions led by expert guides. Plans call to tour Bilbao's Old Quarter and travel to the Centro Botín, Balenciaga Museum, Chillida-Leku and the charming villages of Queveda and Santillana del Mar. The cost for the trip is $4,985 per person, double occupancy, based on 20-24 participants. If 25 or more people sign up, the cost will drop to $4,560 per person. The Single supplement is $1,035.
