1.  Theater - A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters" Enters its Final Week

"Love Letters" offers its final performances on Friday, February 15, 2019 and runs through Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Southampton Cultural Center (SCC). Performances take place on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and on Sundays at 2:30 p.m. on the stage of  SCC's The Levitas Center for the Arts.

"Love Letters" relays the life-long relationship between two childhood friends who began writing to each other and childhood and continue the practice throughout their lives.

General admission is $25 and $12 for students with ID. Group rates are available. Brunch & Theater packages are $45 to $55 at Fellingham's or Claude's. Dinner & Theater packages are $69 at Claude's or Plaza. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here or by calling 631-287-4377. Reservations are encouraged. 2.  Film Screening: Van Gogh Art Examined through a Collector's Eye

Guild Hall presents "Great Art on Screen: VAN GOGH: Of Wheat Fields and Clouded Skies" on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 7 p.m.

The film examines Van Gogh through major private collector Helene Kröller-Müller (1869-1939), one of the first to recognize the genius of Van Gogh. In the early 20th century, Kröller-Müller amassed nearly 300 of Van Gogh’s paintings and drawings now housed at her namesake museum in Holland. The Basilica Palladina exhibition in Vicenza, “Amid Wheat Fields and Clouded Skies,” with 40 paintings and 85 drawings on loan from the Kröller-Müller Museum, forms the basis of the film as a way to reveal Van Gogh’s art and his genius while also exploring the importance of drawing as part of his work.

3.  Film: Weekend of Oscar Short Screenings

Guild Hall teams up with the Hamptons International Film Festival to present film screenings of Short Films nominated for Oscars on Saturday, February 16, 2019 and Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Films screen on Saturday from Noon to 8 p.m. in four separate programs. On Sunday, films screen from noon to 3:30 p.m. in two sessions. Screenings are offered in Short Documentaries, Animated and Live Action. Click here to see all the options.

4.  Gallery Tour & Talk - Southampton Art Center's Take Over!

The new exhibition-artist participatory event "Take Over - Artists in Residence!" will offer a Gallery Tour on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. with Curator Amy Kirwin and exhibiting artists.

Part exhibition, part open artist studio, "Take Over!" features East End artists Scott Bluedorn, Daniel Cabrera, Darlene Charneco, Kara Hoblin, Ruby Jackson, Laurie Lambrecht, Jerome Lucani, Paton Miller and Jeff Muhs. The Gallery Talk and Tour will have artists discussion their plans for their time in residency.

5. Tour, Talk & Tasting - Making Sparkling Wine

Wolffer Estate Vineyards presents "All About Sparkling: Methode Champenoise 101" on Sunday at 1:30 or 3:30 p.m.

Part class, tour and tasting, "All About Sparkling: Methode Champenoise 101" will have participants learning about the traditional method of making sparkling wine and the years-long process while tasting past, current and future vintages. Unique pairings range from savory to sweet and soft to crunchy.
