ASHAWAGH HALL - "water + color + works" hosts a Food Truck Night on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through September 16, 2018. Exhibiting artists include Ani Antreasyan, Kirsten Benfield, Amy Conway, Barbara DiLorenzo, Lesley Obrock, Kate Rabinowitz, Janet Rojas and Jerry Schwabe. LYCEUM GALLERY at SUFFOLK COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE - "Mary Abbott: Paintings, Collages, and Watercolors" has an Opening Reception on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibition is on view from September 4 to October 25, 2018. The show presents Mary Abbott's oil paintings that were inspired by nature and feature her signature gestural style. EAST HAMPTON PUBLIC LIBRARY - "Mike Solomon: A Small Survey of Works from 2015 to the Present" has an Opening Reception on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through October 10, 2018. The show includes watercolors on paper infused in resin and acrylic on polyester films. Solomon gives a lecture at 6 p.m. prior to the opening on Alfonso Ossorio's The Creeks. Click here for details. WILLIAM RIS GALLERY - "ILLUMINATIONS" has an Opening Reception on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. The exhibition is a solo show of new work by Max Moran that was inspired by cloudscapes.
