ARF’s Bow Wow Meow Ball
ARF presents the “Bow Wow Meow Ball” on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
Enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing at the ARF Adoption Center. This year’s benefit will honor David Monn and his beloved Sammy with the Champion of Animals Award and be presented by Peter Marino and Katharina Otto-Bernstein.

Artistic Dreams International Summer Cocktail Party and Fundraiser in The Hamptons
Artistic Dreams International will host a Summer Cocktail Party, silent auction and exhibit at Martha Clara Vineyards on August 18, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Artistic Dreams International is an arts education non-profit dedicated to providing intensive arts programs to students living in underserved communities in New York City and Mexico. The exhibition will feature works from established Mexican artists debuting works relating to immigration at the US border. The cocktail event and fundraising auction, catered by Cowfish, will include bidding on exclusive gift items. Artworks created by Artistic Dreams children will also be available for purchase. The silent auction will include 30 beautiful works by children from Mexico.
All event proceeds go to benefit Artistic Dreams International.

East Hampton Artists & Writers Charity Softball Game
“The 70th Annual East Hampton Artists & Writers Charity Softball Game” will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 4 p.m. The game will be held at Herrick Park in East Hampton, N.Y.
The Annual Charity Softball Game is one of the longest running traditions on the East End. The “Future Artists & Writers Kids Clinic” will be held at 10:30 a.m., the “Home Run Challenge” at 1 p.m., with Batting Practice from 2 to 3 p.m. The Game will start at 4 p.m. Enjoy typical stadium foods and watch celebrities play. Funds raised from this event will support The Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center, Phoenix House Academy, The Retreat and East End Hospice.

East End Hospice Box Art Auction
East End Hospice presents “Box Art Auction” on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Hampton, N.Y.
Prominent artists from the East End transform a wine box or cigar box into unique and collectible works of art, which will be included in either the silent or the live auction. The Auction Preview will be held on Wednesday, August 22 and Thursday, August 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Luke’s Hoie Hall. The free Preview Reception will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Sylvester Manor 2nd Annual Cocktail Party At The Windmill
Sylvester Manor presents the “Second Annual Cocktail Party at the Windmill” on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Restoration to stabilize the foundation of the 1810 Dominy Windmill, one of the oldest and most iconic structures on the Sylvester Manor property, is now underway. Set under a tent on the lawn surrounding the windmill, Shelter Island's 18 Bay Restaurant will provide an array of hors d'oeuvres showcasing our local markets, including Sylvester Manor’s own Farm produce. Proceeds from the party will go towards this mission to restore, repair and safeguard this structure for future generations.

Southampton Arts Center SUMMERFEST
The Southampton Arts Center presents the annual “SUMMERFEST Culinary Arts Festival” on Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 6 to 10 p.m.
The end of summer annual event will honor Peter Marino with the 2018 Champion of the Arts Award. SUMMERFEST will feature a wide selection of dishes from a host of celebrated restaurants and chefs across the East End.
