Southampton Cultural Center will present Joe Landry’s, "A Christmas Carol, A Live Radio Play" in select performances held from November 24 to December 3, 2017. Based on the beloved classic, A Christmas Carol, the holiday tale literally springs to life in Joe Landry’s clever take on the epiphany of Ebenezer Scrooge. Produced and written as a live 1940s radio broadcast, Landry’s adaptation gets to the heart of each story and aurally and visually recreates an era of hope and understanding. Assisted by sound effects and the vocal prowess of the actors on stage, "A Christmas Carol, A Live Radio Play" channels simpler times coupled with the power of story and storytelling.

"A Christmas Carol, A Live Radio Play" will be performed at the Levitas Center for the Arts at Southampton Cultural Center for two weeks. The show begins Thanksgiving Weekend with performances staged Friday, November 24, 2017 and Sunday, November 26, 2017. The Radio Show continue the following week with performances held daily from Thursday, November 30, 2017 through Sunday, December 3, 2017. Performance times are Thursdays at 7 p.m.; Fridays at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 2, 5 and 7 p.m.; and Sundays at 2 and 5 p.m.
