The opening of Guild Hall's Artist Members Show is always a popular one. The Open Call art exhibition carries with it the hope of winning a solo show at the museum's Spiga Gallery as well as having art selected as noteworthy in several different categories. This year was no exception, even as the reception ushered in the opening reception as a museum members-only affair instead of open to the general public. Crowds still appeared in waves throughout with congratulations flowing and artist connections occurring, just as they have in the past.
