Art Basel Miami Beach opens to the public today and remains on view through Sunday, December 4, 2016. Following is a First Look at some of the art, exhibition booths and the scene drawing the art world's attention this week in Miami and Miami Beach. A Critic's View on the art fair, written by Miami art critic Elisa Turner, publishes later today.

The 2016 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach (ABMB) presents 269 galleries from 29 countries located in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa presented in seven Sectors. Last year, the art fair drew around 77,000 people through the doors of the Miami Beach Convention Center.
