Benefit season is now in full swing out in the Hamptons! The month of July is seen as the height of some of the best East End parties. Besides having a good time, each of the benefits listed support worthy causes based here in the Hamptons. Art galas that are not to be missed include benefits for Parrish Art Museum, Bay Street Theatre, LongHouse Reserve, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, and Watermill Center. Here is our list of upcoming benefits for the month of July:

July 10 (Friday)

“Clams for Clams” takes place on Friday, July 10 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Marine Sciences Center on the Stony Brook Southampton college campus in Southampton, NY. A sunset cruise on Shinnecock Bay will take place at 7 p.m., with a cocktail reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Proceeds will go towards restoring the Shinnecock Bay. Support will aid with the building of clam sanctuaries to enhance clam reproductive output, increase water quality, and help control harmful algae blooms. In its third year, Clams for Clams has already made a real difference in turning brown tide blue. Stony Brook marine scientists have planted 20 clam spawner sanctuaries, with a total of 1 million hard clams now helping to filter the bay.

July 11 (Saturday)

“Southampton Historical Museum Halsey House Gala” takes place on Saturday, July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thomas Halsey Homestead lawn in Southampton, NY. Celebrate the 375th Anniversary of Southampton’s oldest home. Enjoy live music, hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, the 3rd NY Regiment in colonial costume, and a silent auction. Proceeds from the Benefit will goes towards the Southampton Historical Museum’s Education Programs.

“Parrish Art Museum Midsummer Party” takes place on Saturday, July 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY. This annual event brings together almost 1,000 artists, philanthropists, business leaders, and world guests in support of the Parrish. Cocktails kicks off at 6:30 p.m., and at 7:30 p.m. enjoy dinner on the terrace by Olivier Cheng Catering and Events. Following dinner, dance to the sounds of Coleman Music in the Lichtenstein Theater with the After Ten Party until 1 a.m.

The party will treat guests to the Museum’s current art exhibitions, including Chuck Close’s photographs, Tara Donovan’s new site-specific sculptures, and a selection of works from the Museum’s permanent collection.

Dinner tables range from $15,000 to $50,000. Individual dinner tickets range from $1,500 to $2,500 per person and After Ten tickets are $200 per person. “Bay Street Theater’s 24th Annual Summer Gala” takes place on Saturday, July 11 on The Long Wharf in Sag Harbor, NY. There will be a 5:30 p.m. VIP Cocktail Reception at the theater, with a premiere concert reading of the first act of The Prince of Egypt and an awards presentation at 6 p.m. The Tent opens for cocktails at 7:30 p.m. followed with dinner prepared by Sterling Affair and a Silent and Live Auction with auctioneer Richard Kind at 8 p.m. The gala will honor The Honorable Timothy Bishop and Joe Pintauro. Proceeds from the Gala will benefit Bay Street Theater’s educational and theatrical programs.

“Southold Historical Society Summer Gala Fundraiser” takes place on Saturday, July 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Museum Complex in Southold, NY. This year’s 12th Annual Summer Gala will include a silent auction, music, fine food and refreshments.

July 18 (Saturday)

“LongHouse Reserve 2015 Summer Benefit—ON GOSSAMER WINGS” takes place on Saturday, July 18 from 6 to 11 p.m. on LongHouse Reserve’s 16-acre East Hampton grounds. The Benefit will celebrate the foundation’s 24th season and honor internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor Kiki Smith with the LongHouse Award.

Enjoy music by John Houshmand and his art band Soundwall, and be entertained by the illusion-artist Joshua Jay and the Brooklyn Peaches. The festivities continue with a dinner beneath the stars. Following the feast, DJ Donna d’Cruz will invite guests to join her for a Dessert & Dance Party. After the neighborhood 11 p.m. curfew, the Silent Disco Dance Party will start as headphones are handed out to all who wish to keep on dancing.

The Silent Auction conducted by Paddle8 will go live on July 3 and will run until 11:00 p.m. on July 18 at www.paddle8.com/auction/longhouse.

“Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Art for Life Gala” takes place on Saturday, July 18 at Fairview Farms in Bridgehampton, NY. The theme is the roaring 20’s. Cocktails start at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and programs at 7 p.m.

Soledad O’Biren will host the evening, with a special performance by Bell Biv Devoe, and music by DJ M.O.S. This years honorees include Dave Chappelle, Michaela and Simon de Pury, and Ava DuVernay and the featured artist is Wangechi Mutu. The Gala benefits the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s mission to provide art education opportunities for inner city youths and exhibition opportunities for emerging artists.

“Maureen’s Haven Annual Gala: Disco” takes place on Friday, July 24 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Hyatt Sea Star Ballroom in Riverhead, NY. The event benefits Maureen’s Haven, a Homeless Outreach non-profit organization that serves the East End.

July 25 (Saturday)

“The 22nd Annual Watermill Summer Benefit and Auction” takes place on Saturday, July 25 from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Watermill Center in Water Mill, NY.

The Watermill Center will once again bring together the worlds of theater, art, fashion, design, and society for their Summer Benefit. Watermill International Summer Program Participants come from over 25 countries to create installations and performances throughout the eight and a half acres of grounds during the event. The Benefit will support The Watermill Center's year round Artist Residency Programs.

“The Hampton Designer Showhouse,” the showcase for America’s premier design talent, will take place in Bridgehampton, NY from July 25 through Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2015. The Showhouse will open with a Gala Preview Cocktail Party on Saturday, July 25 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Southampton Hospital in Southampton, NY.

The Hampton Designer Showhouse, now in its fifteenth year, will feature 25 top interior designers and decorative artists who will turn a barn style house into a decorating masterpiece. This year’s Showhouse located in Bridgehampton, NY has been provided by Christopher Tufo Design & Build.
