Beth O'Donnell Holds Open Studio for New Brooklyn Studio

Photographer and artist Beth O'Donnell is celebrating her new Brooklyn studio by hosting an Open Studio event on Saturday, November 23 in Williamsburg. The Open House takes place from noon to 5 p.m. at 390 Wythe Avenue, #6K, Brooklyn, NY 1121.

Beth O‘Donnell studied photography at the Evanston Art Center in Evanston, Illinois and The International Center for Photography in New York City. As a photographer with a love of painting, Beth found herself in a natural progression by blending her two interests to create mixed media works. The process starts with mounting photographs on birch panel, covering the images with layers of encaustic wax and paint using pigmented oil sticks and inks.

O’Donnell has exhibited work at the United Nations in conjunction with the Istanbul +5 Conference and her photographs have been auctioned at several major philanthropic events around the United States.
