The summer season on the East End is filled with events for architecture, interior design and landscape design lovers. House tours and garden tours take place throughout the months of June, July and August. Read on for our list of top home and garden design events through the end of August.

7th Annual Southampton House Tour

The 7th Annual Southampton House Tour takes place on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. The House Tour will include various locations in the Village of Southampton from Colonial days right up to the present. After the Tour meet at the Rogers Mansion for a Champagne Reception, hosted by Sant Ambroeus Restaurant from 4:30 to 6 p.m. 

Sites on the tour include; the Belvedere Cottage, the White House at 159 Main Street, a Village Jewel, a “Sanctuary,” a Dutch Colonial, the Thomas Halsey Homestead and St. Andrew’s Dune Church. 

Tickets are $95 in advance and $110 day of tour. They can be purchased online or by calling the museum at 631-283-2494. On the day of the tour tickets may be picked up or purchased as early as 10:30 a.m. at the Thomas Halsey House, 294 South Main Street, Southampton. www.southamptonhistoricalmuseum.org.

Coastal Living Showhouse

The Hamptons Coastal Living Showhouse will take place from June 11 through September 4, 2016 in Bridgehampton, NY.

Designer Meg Braff is working alongside Fred Throo Architects and Touch of Grey builders to design the Coastal Living Showhouse, filled with seaside style, bold colors, design tips and more. The 2016 Showhouse is a 6,800-square-foot, 6-bedroom/8.5-bathroom home featuring a home gym, pool & pool house, tennis court and wine cellar. The home will be published in the September issue of Coastal Living.

Showhouse Tours: Thursday through Sunday only, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets are $35. The 2016 Showhouse will be located at 272 Brick Kiln Road Bridgehampton, NY 11963. Parking available on Hickory Hills Lane. www.coastalliving.com.

Landscape Pleasures

The Parrish Art Museum will present Landscape Pleasures on Saturday and Sunday, June 11 and 12, 2016.

This year’s event will be held in memory of landscape architect, author, and Landscape Pleasures committee member Jack deLashmet.

On Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. a symposium featuring speakers Andrea Cochran, Charles Birnbaum and Darrel Morrison will take place. A Benefit Committee Cocktail Party for sponsor level supporters will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. On Sunday, June 12, four self-guided garden tours of Hamptons properties will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

ARF Garden Tour

ARF will present their 30th Anniversary Garden Tour on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The tour will include gardens in Bridgehampton, Sagaponack and Wainscott.

Gardens featured include: Susan Calhoun and Charlie Moss, Nancy Corzine, Gillian Spreckels Fuller, Bettysue and Jeffrey Hughes, Rosalind and Ken Landis and free admission to Much Ado About Madoo Garden Market.

Tour tickets are $85 and tour and cocktail reception tickets are $175. The cocktail reception will take place on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the oceanfront home of Barbara Slifka in Sagaponack. www.arfhamptons.org.

Holiday House Hamptons

Holiday House Hamptons will presents its 2016 design house from June 19 to July 26, 2016 at 100 Crescent in Water Mill, NY. The HHH Opening Night White Party takes place on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and benefits The Breast Cancer Research FoundationTickets start at $350.

The 2016 edition is being held at a $18M estate south of the highway in Water Mill, showcasing summer living and entertaining. Around 21 designers will present their designs. Expect fine art among the offerings.

Holiday House Hamptons will be open to the public Thursdays through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours on Thursdays until 8 p.m. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Admission is $35 and can be purchased online or at the door.

WGC House & Garden Tour

The Westhampton Garden Club presents the House & Garden Tour on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will include a self-guided tour of six homes and gardens. There will be boutique shopping at one of the homes and complimentary refreshments poolside at another. Luncheon for H&G Tour participants will be held at the Westhampton Country Club for an additional $40.

A Benefactor tour ticket is $200, a house tour ticket is $75 and a luncheon ticket is $40. All proceeds from the House & Garden Tour will support their community gardens, scholarships and conservation projects. www.westhamptongardenclub.org.

The Hamptons Designer Showhouse

The Hamptons Designer Showhouse presented by Traditional Home will take place from July 24 through September 5, 2016 in Sag Harbor, NY. Showhouse hours are Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

House built by Bodenchak Design and Build. The Showhouse will benefit the Southampton Hospital.

The Gala Preview Cocktail Party will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Tickets start at $225.

Admission is $35 and includes a journal. This year’s Showhouse is located at 1597 Noyac Path, Sag Harbor, NY 11963. www.hamptondesignershowhouse.com.

WHBPAC House & Garden Tour

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will present a House & Garden Tour on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This self-guided tour may begin at any of its locations as participants flow from house to house. With ocean views, landscapes and decor, these homes and properties showcase the full range of beauty and architecture on the East End. A lunch at the Quogue Club at Hallock House is included for those purchasing the Full-Day package.

Tickets for the tour are $75, and tickets for the tour and luncheon at Quogue Club are $125. www.whbpac.org.

Garden As Art Tour: Water Vistas

Guild Hall will present Garden As Art Tour: Water Vistas on Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27, 2016.

The Garden As Art Tour fundraiser will begin on Friday night with a cocktail reception For Patron and Benefactor ticket holders. On Saturday participants gather at Guild Hall for a continental breakfast, lecture and presentation in the John Drew Theater. Following the presentation there will be a luncheon for Benefactor ticket holders from 12 to 2 p.m. Garden lovers will get the chance to visit five toxin-free and sustainable residential gardens on the water, or containing a prominent water feature or utilizing water conservation features from noon to 5 p.m.
