EAST END, NY-

Art openings continue on the East End this weekend. Worth noting is a sprawling exhibition of outdoor furniture design at LongHouse Reserve and a talk by the winners of Guild Hall's Artists Members Exhibition. Here's this week's list of art and culture on the East End.

AMAGANSETT 

ILLE ARTS GALLERY - “Virva Hinnemo” has an opening reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through June 2. The gallery is located at 216a Main Street, Amagansett, NY 11930. www.illearts.com.

CUTCHOGUE

ALEX FERRONE PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY - “Gallery Talk” takes place on Sunday at 2 p.m. Exhibiting photographers Ray Germann, Scott Farrell, and Rich Faron will discuss their works and their time photographing New York City. EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS 

GUILD HALL - “Meet the Winners Gallery Tour and Talk” takes place on Saturday at 11 a.m. Michelle Klein will interview the winners of the 76th Annual Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition. The awards judge was Robert Storr. The event is free with museum admission.

GUILD HALL - “Alexander Russo Reading & Book Signing” takes place on Saturday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The reception with the author begins at 1:30 p.m. The reading of Combat Artist: A Journal of Love and War and book signing takes place from 2 to 3 p.m. The event is free with museum admission.

LONGHOUSE RESERVE - “Exteriors: The Explosion of Outdoor Furnishings” has an Opening Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through Oct. 11. SOUNDWALL will perform at the reception. Admission is $10, free for members. The Longhouse Reserve is located at 133 Hands Creek Road, East Hampton, NY 11937. www.longhouse.org.

SAG HARBOR

GRENNING GALLERY – “Sarah Lamb and Edward Minoff” have an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through June 15. Lamb paints still lifes of everyday subject matter. Minoff, a plein air painter, paints seascapes, landscapes, and some portraits. The gallery is located at 17 Washington St, Sag Harbor, NY 11963. www.grenninggallery.com.

SALON 66 - "BOXES OF HOPE" silent auction takes place on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Sale proceeds benefit the Alexander Maxwell Grant Foundation. Bidding sheets are currently available. Boxes are made by around 35 artists, designers or creative types. They include artists Kryn Olsen, Sheila Batiste, Mary Jaffe and Jackie Fuchs. Salon 66 is located at 66 Main Street, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.

WATERMILL

WATERMILL CENTER - “Midnight” by Tilman Hecker takes place on Saturday at 8 p.m. The performance is a work-in-progress that includes video, light, and 3 performers. The performance is inspired by Mozart’s music. Reservations are required. Admission is free. The Watermill Center is located at 39 Watermill Towd Road, Watermill, NY 11976. www.watermillcenter.org.
