The weekend brings numerous new art exhibitions, museum openings and concerts to the East End of Long Island. Here's what's happening in the Hamptons art scene and beyond:

AMAGANSETT 

CRAZY MONKEY GALLERY - “Member Show Featuring Stephanie Reit and Sheila Rotner” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Works by member artists are also on view. They include Andrea McCafferty, Daniel Schoenheimer, Jana Hayden, Barbara Bilotta, June Kaplan, Ellyn Tucker, Mark E. Zammerman, Tina Andrews, Lance Corey, Cynthia Sobel, Dianne Marxe, Kathy Hammond and Daniel Dubinsky. The exhibition remains on view through June 24. NEOTERIC FINE ART - “Bad Ass Bitches” has an Opening Reception tonight (Friday) from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. Participating artists in this all-female show include Melissa Armstrong, Abby Lloyd, Christine Lidrbauch, Christine Sciulli, Geige Silver, Melissa Mapes, Graylen Gatewood, Maria Pessino, Elyse Hradecky, Jackie Guido, Andrea Cote, Nika Nesgoda, Marsha Owett, Matisse Patterson, and Robin Mapes Tomlinson. The show was curated by Melissa Mapes. The Opening Reception will include performances by Spittin’ Kitten, The Neo-Political Cowgirls, Denise Lassaw, and the Fiery Sensations and a Dance Party with DJ Alanna Raben. Admission is $10. BRIDGEHAMPTON

KATHRYN MARKEL FINE ARTS - “Everything Has Its Place” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Participating artists include Nick Doyle, Justine Hill, Bradley LaMare, Corey Riddell, Dana Sherwood, and Bryan McGovern Wilson. EAST HAMPTON / SPRINGS

ASHAWAGH HALL - "The East End Photographers Group 25th Anniversary Exhibition" has an opening reception on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. Participating photographers include Virgina Aschmoneit, Dennis Bontempo, Zintis Buzermanis, Anne Drager, Paul Dempsey, Rich Faron, Alex Ferrone, Ray Germann, Janet Glazer, Gerry Giliberti, Pamela Greinke, Betty Holmes, Danielle Leef, Joel Lefkowitz, George Mallis, Jim Sabiston, Joan Santos, Rosa Hanna Scott, Daniel Schoenheimer, James Slezak, Marilyn Stevenson, Clarence Simpson, Nick Tarr, Mary Trentalange, Bob Wilson, Nacola Wilson, Alan Weinschel, Mia Wisnoski, and others. SPRINGS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH - “The Business of Art: Seminar by Jane Martin” takes place on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. Part one of the four-part seminar is titled, “The Professional Artist.” The cost is $40 and payable at the door. JAMESPORT

EAST END ARTS at ROSALIE DIMON GALLERY - “New Art Show” has an Artists’ Reception on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. Featured artists are photographer Alex Ferrone and printmaker Mary Twomey. Ferrone will exhibit aerial photographs of natural settings and Twomey will exhibit mixed media works exploring a variety of themes and life experiences. QUOGUE

QUOGUE LIBRARY – “Vision in Color” by Donna Levy has an Artist Reception on Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Levy is a Quogue resident who paints the light and color of Eastern Long Island landscapes. SAG HARBOR

LEAR GALLERY - “Ronald Gonzalez: Soul Searching” has an opening reception Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The sculpture exhibition remains on view through July 14. The gallery is located in the alley behind 41 Main Street, Sag Harbor, NY 11963. www.leargallery.com.

RDJ GALLERY - “Objects of Desire” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The show hopes to elicit an emotional response in the viewer through the displayed artwork in order to explore the brain’s process of introspection. Along with the exhibition will be music, lighting, scents, and a bar. The exhibition remains on view through June 27. SOUTHAMPTON

SOUTHAMPTON CULTURAL CENTER - “The Flower Show” opens Monday (June 3) and has an Opening Reception on Thursday (June 6) from 5 to 7 p.m. Participating artists include Ronnie Chalif, Jennifer Cross, Felisa Dell, Sue Ferguson Gussow, Cornelia Foss, Alice Forman, Sheila Isham, Fay Lansner, Gerson Leiber, and William Rayner. The exhibition features interpretations of flowers ranging from abstraction to representation. The show was curated by Arlene Bujese. The exhibition remains on view through July 7. SOUTHOLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY - “Plein Air Painting: It’s a Global Sport” has an Opening Reception tonight from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Exhibiting artists include Marc Dalessio, Karl Dempwolf, Ben Fenske, Nelson H. White, Thomas Shelford, Ramiro, Melissa Sanchez, and Franklin. The exhibition remains on view through June 29. It is presented by the Grenning Gallery. WATERMILL

PARRISH ART MUSEUM - "Jazz Plein Air" live music series begins tonight at 5 p.m. Launching the concert series is Hector Martignon's Foreign Affair Quartet. Additional concerts take place on June 28, July 26, and August 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. Performances are free with museum admission ($10 adults, $8 for seniors, free for members, children, and students). WATER MILL MUSEUM - "Season Opening Event" has an Opening Reception and historical reading tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. Sally Huns will read from the archives of the museum to celebrate the opening of the museum for the season.
