Artist Groups
The following are formalized artist groups that are actively collaborating and exhibiting. They are divided into two lists: HAMPTONS/ NORTH FORK and LONG ISLAND (meaning West of Riverhead, NY).

HAMPTONS / NORTH FORK ARTIST GROUPS
Artists Alliance of East Hampton (AAEH) – East Hampton, NY
Non-profit artist organization based in East Hampton. Monthly meetings plus several members exhibitions and an annual open studio tour held in July. Open to all.
East End Photographers Group (EEPG) – East Hampton, NY
Fine art photographers who exhibit several times per year in the Hamptons. EEPG’s mission is to promote photography and the visual arts in a community setting. The group is open to all levels and encourages the exploration of the photography process.
EMERGE.LI - Greenport, NY
EMERGE.LI aims to change the “state of the art” on Long Island. Its mission is to encourage the exchange of ideas between emerging and established artists through events and exhibitions that take a detour from the norm. Open to artists who demonstrate a commitment to their art practice.
PLEIN AIR PECONIC - Hamptons, NY
Plein air painters and photographers creating landscapes of pristine areas conserved through the Peconic Land Trust. Exhibitions are held annually to raise funds and awareness to support continuing preservation efforts. Conserved sites are located throughout Eastern Long Island.
SOUTHAMPTON ARTISTS ASSOCIATION - A long-standing art group based in Southampton. The organizagion “seeks to encourage the community of visual artists on the east end of Long Island, New York.” Four annual exhibitions are held at the Levitas Center for the Arts at the Southampton Cultural Center.

LONG ISLAND ARTIST GROUPS
FRESH - Port Jefferson, NY
FRESH is an in-flux art collective dedicated to underground and emerging artists of Long Island. Its mission is to help artists connect with each other while providing alternative spaces to expose their work. Its home base is Toast Coffeehouse in Port Jefferson where they hold monthly exhibitions.
