The Parrish Art Museum celebrated the opening of "Jennifer Bartlett: History of the Universe - Works 1970 - 2011" with a VIP opening on April 26. The solo show opened on April 27 and continues through July 13. An Opening for Museum Members takes place on Saturday (May 3).
The traveling retrospective was curated by Klaus Ottmann, former Parrish Art Museum adjunct curator and now Director of the Center for the Study of Modern Art and Curator at Large at The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. The exhibition launched at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where it was presented from June 27 to October 13, 2013.
