“ANTIQUE SILVER BOOKMARKS FROM THE MYRA WEISER COLLECTION” features 60 bookmarks made by American and European silversmiths from 1800 to 1910. Most books published between 1500 and 1900 had to be cut open, so combination cutting tools and bookmarks became the popular period gift items on view in this exhibit. The exhibition is presented in the Southampton Historical Museum's Pelletreau Silver Shop located on Main Street in the Village of Southampton.
