Living on the East End, many people think nothing of going into New York City for the day to see a show, museum or to shop. Short visits to the looming metropolis to the west have long been a favorite pastime of many East End residents.
In this exhibition, Photographers William Steeple Davis and Charles Henry Meredith, in a span of just over 50 years, show us some of the past landscapes of the ever evolving city through their photography.
Address: 55200 Main Road, Southold, NY 11971.
