Colored Air is Fukuko Harris’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. In the show, Harris will exhibit new paintings, wall sculptures, free standing sculptures and assemblages that continue to foster her experimentations of process and technique.
The artworks presented are generally non-representational, but as Harris admits, the work is based on something witnessed, sensed, or otherwise experienced in her lifetime. The works are recollections of internal and external perceptions.
