In the mood for a mystery? Like to laugh? The Hampton Theatre Company (HTC) has just the thing with its staging of Ken Ludwig's "Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery." Opening on October 24 and continuing through November 10, 2019 in Quogue, NY, the comedic adventure takes audiences on an unexpected ride in search for answers before a fatal curse claims the life of the newest male heir of the Baskerville line.

Magnifying the hilarity is watching three actors play 40 distinct characters who provide a tangle of clues. Meanwhile, Sherlock Homes and Watson stay the course to get to the bottom of things—while enduring silly accents, disguises and deceits—to crack the case of the "Hound of Baskerville."

"Ken Ludwig's Baskerville" pulls inspiration from Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Hound of the Baskervilles” and transforms the tale into a funny adventure.

A reviewer for Broadway World explained that “the joy is not in solving the crime but in the plethora of wildly imaginative characters you meet along the way … a play that is ingeniously funny and will keep you guessing until the curtain call," according to the Hampton Theatre Company.
