The Bellport Art Scene is hopping on Saturday, July 27, 2019, with events and stand-out exhibitions in two galleries located in the Eastern Long Island village.
Head to MARQUEE PROJECTS for the last weekend of its three-part exhibition "An Artist Place." The series presents contemporary and historic artists who live or work in Bellport or the surrounding communities. The exhibition has its final day on Sunday, July 27, 2019. On view are paintings, sculpture, photography and mixed media works by Tyler Healey, Michael Ince, Mikael Levin, Katia Read, Lorena Salcedo-Watson, Maya Schindler, Mika Tajima and Andrew Tarlow.
On Saturday, from 6 to 7 p.m., catch the final Writer-Artist Presentation. The event features Thaddeus O'Neil and Tyler Healy who explore "On Sea." Set in the gallery's Backyard, it's bound to be an enjoyable time. To see the art, click here.

Down the road is the artist collective Auto Body's new home. Opening earlier this year, this Saturday, July 27, 2019, the group presents both Closing and Opening celebrations. From 1 to 3 p.m., there's a Closing Reception for the exhibition "Daydreams," featuring art by family members Saskia Friedrich, Jeremy Rhodes Grosvenor and Mamoun Friedrich-Grosvenor.
In the evening, return for the Opening Reception of "Baby Behind Flowers," a photograph, by Jack Pierson, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
