EASTERN LONG ISLAND - BELLPORT

MARQUEE PROJECTS - “An Artists’ Place” has an Opening Reception on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. The second of three group shows presented in collaboration with the Bellport Brookhaven Historical Society, the exhibitions celebrate the artists who have lived in the hamlet for the last two centuries. The second installment presents work by Fabian Bernal, Cacho Falcon, Jessi Flores, Tim Furzer, Kathleen J Graves, Tim Hoffman, Gaines Peyton and Jay Sylvester. QUOGUE GALLERY - “Bob Paul Kane: A Dance with Color” has an Opening Reception on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. The solo show for the late artist opens the gallery's summer exhibition season. SOUTHOLD

SOUTHOLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY at HORTON POINT LIGHTHOUSE - “Tale of the Whale” has an Opening Reception on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. This educational exhibition is part of the Southold Historical Society’s Nautical Museum at Horton Point Lighthouse and tells an important story about the mammals that played a large role in Long Island history. This exhibition has been located in a small outer building of the Nautical Museum since 2007, but is being presented now for the first time since its recent restoration. The Horton Point Lighthouse is located at 3575 Lighthouse Road, Southold, NY 11971. Admission of $5 per adult and $10 per family is suggested. www.southoldhistoricalsociety.org
