ASHAWAGH HALL - "East Meets West" has an Opening Reception on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. The group show features area artists presenting painting, sculpture and mixed media works. Exhibiting artists include Teri Kennedy, Lance Corey and others. The show is on view this weekend only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. HALSEY MCKAY GALLERY - "THRESHOLD," a solo show by Augustus Nazzaro, has an Opening Reception on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. His second solo show with the gallery, Nazarro’s acrylic paintings on wood panel incorporate representational images to channel cognitive recall over realism. For the show, a panoramic installation of works, made from 2015 to the present, create a cinematic vignettes that may be both mysterious and familiar.
