Guild Hall presents a new play "Falls for Jodie"

Written by Eric Micha Holmes & Directed by Bill Burford

Performances March 6 to 17, 2019

Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Inspired by the months before John Hinckley's attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan, “Falls for Jodie” is an imagined account of Hinckley’s strange partnership with a concierge at a hotel next to the Yale campus, who tries to help Hinckley win the affections of his child-star crush.

Written by Eric Micha Holmes, “Falls for Jodie” will provoke attendees to consider their views on difficult topics including gun control, criminal justice, mental health and treatment. It's particularly well-timed considering the epidemic of seemingly random acts of mass violence which have been on a steep rise in our country. Guild Hall continues to choose works that address challenging topics such as these and serve to start important conversations in our community and beyond.
