February brings the continuation of winter and a smattering of new exhibitions to the Hamptons and North Fork gallery scenes. In the Hamptons, Kathryn Markel Fine Arts turns over her gallery to a second curator who opens a group show of Hamptons artists. The Southampton Arts Center opens its 2019 exhibition season as an artist project space that simulates working artists studios. So far, the North Fork Gallery Scene is quiet with receptions and events. Keep your eyes peeled for future announcements.
