Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Summer Party

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital presents the “Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Summer Party” on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. 

The 60th annual party will benefit The Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department. Cocktails will begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner, dancing and a silent auction at 7:30 p.m., all held under the air-conditioned tents on Wickapogue Road in Southampton. The night’s emcee will be Chuck Scarborough and music will be by Groove Society.

Oysterponds Summer Benefit  

The Oysterponds Historical Society presents the “Summer Benefit and Art Auction” on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m.

This outdoor gala will bring together a wide audience drawn by the participation of artists who live in Orient, East Marion and the North Fork and donated their work to benefit Oysterponds Historical Society. Montauk Playhouse Gala

Montauk Playhouse presents the “Gala Celebrating Community” on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Celebrate the kick off of construction on the long-anticipated Cultural Arts and Aquatic Centers at the Playhouse. This year’s Gala will celebrate Montauk’s spirit by honoring two individuals who have given so much to the community, Lisa DeVeglio and Roger Feit. The gala will include live music by Nancy Atlas and Friends, a seated dinner, an open bar and a live and silent auction.

Through Farms and Fields

Peconic Land Trust presents the 16th year of “Through Farms and Fields” on Sunday, August 5, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Salt Air Farm in Cutchogue.

At the 16th annual country supper, the farm families who launched the Suffolk County Farmland Preservation program will be honored. Funds raised at "Through Farms and Fields" support the conservation of Long Island’s working farms, natural lands and heritage for our communities now and in the future.

Chihuly in the Hamptons for WMODA 

"Art on Fire · Chihuly in the Hamptons" will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at a private waterfront home in Remsenberg

The benefit is held on Arthur Wiener's private waterfront residence in Remsenburg, NY. Experience an amazing art collection featuring work by Dale Chihuly, including a chandelier, originally at Lismore Castle in Ireland, and his monumental Fiori and Ikebana sculptures together with his Macchia designs. Proceeds will benefit the educational programs of the Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts (WMODA) in South Florida.

Guild Hall Summer Gala: Ellsworth Kelly

Guild Hall presents the "Summer Gala: Ellsworth Kelly" on Friday, August 10, 2018, from 5 to 11 p.m. 

The evening will be honoring Judith Hope Twomey. An exclusive preview of "Ellsworth Kelly in the Hamptons" at Guild Hall will be held at 5 p.m. Enjoy cocktails at 6:30 p.m. located at a private equestrian property in East Hampton. Dinner, dancing and the live auction will be held at 7:30 p.m., with the After Party continuing from 9 to 11 p.m. The DJ-ed party with music by AndrewAndrew includes drinks and dessert. Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center presents the "Mid-Summer Night's Magic Be Our Guest Cocktail Party" on Friday, August 10, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Quogue Historical Society presents "CELEBRATE ART! Cocktails & Art Talk Benefit" on Friday, August 10, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the QFC Junior Sports Clubhouse.

Noted art historian, advisor, and publisher Peter Hastings Falk will discuss the methodology of pricing artwork in an appropriate way and how it pertains to gallery pricing.

Art Show to Benefit Quogue Historical Society

Quogue Historical Society presents the"53rd Annual Art Show" on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show will be held on the Village Green in Quogue.

The Art Show and Sale will feature almost 40 artists, including many local artists.

East Hampton Library’s Authors Night

The East Hampton Library presents the "14th Annual Authors Night” on Saturday, August 11, 2018. 

"Authors Night" is the annual fundraiser to benefit the East Hampton Library, with all proceeds going directly to the Library. This literary event features 100 authors across all genres.

The "Authors Book Signing Cocktail Reception" will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and feature hors d’oeuvres and wine under the tent. Meet authors, purchase their books and have them signed.
