Jazz saxophonist from NYC, Sergei Gurbelo (Gurbeloshvili) is a multi-instrumentalist International performing and recording artist. He has an extensive experience performing pop, classical, jazz, Broadway, world and R & B Music. The Thursday Night Live Band will include Santi Debriano, bass, Bill Smith, piano and Claes Brondal, drums/mc.

Final Weekend for Hampton Theatre Company’s “The Boys Next Door”

The Hampton Theatre Company presents “The Boys Next Door” at the Quogue Community Hall through April 8, 2018. Shows will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. An additional matinee performance will be offered during the final weekend of the production, on Saturday, April 7, prior to the regular 8 p.m. performance that evening.

“The Boys Next Door” is a comedy by Tom Griffin about four men with various mental disabilities living in a group home. Presented in brief vignettes over a roughly two-month period, the play offers humorous commentary on the lives of the four men and their chief caretaker, the social worker Jack Palmer, who is struggling with the decision of whether or not to move on to a new job. The cast features Matt Conlon, Jessica Howard, Scott Hofer, Dorian M. O’Brien, Spencer Scott and Paul Velutis.

Friday Night Concert at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co.

The Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. presents “Friday Night Concert: Who Are Those Guys? And Friends” on Friday, April 6, 2018, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Listen to a collaborative concert experience with “Who Are Those Guys?” and the special guest “Route 48.” This will be a blend of two unique styles of play, creating a one of a kind musical performance.

Inter-Sections: The Architect in Conversation” Series Kicks off at The Parrish

 The Parrish Art Museum presents “Talk: Inter-Sections: The Architect in Conversation, with James Casebere and Terrie Sultan” on Friday, April 6, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Join a conversation with artist and photographer James Casebere, whose work is featured in the current Parrish exhibition, “Image Building,” about how photography can change the way we look at architecture. Casebere's work has established him at the forefront of artists working with constructed photography. For the last thirty years, Casebere has devised increasingly complex models that are subsequently photographed in his studio. Parrish director Terrie Sultan will moderate the talk.

In Process @ The Watermill Center

The Watermill Center presents "In Process @ The Watermill Center" on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. 

In Process @ The Watermill Center invites the community to engage with the resident artists on Saturday afternoons through open rehearsals, workshops, studio visits, lectures or artist talks. Ville Andersson (b.1986 Loviisa, Finland) is a versatile artist, both in his use of different media and in his variety of styles and themes. His series comprise, among others, photographs, drawings, paintings, installations and texts. Lauren DiGiulio is an art historian and dramaturg whose scholarship focuses on contemporary dance and performance. Saskia Friedrich (b. Germany) immersed herself in the study of dance, acting, Raga music and the graffiti and the music and club scene of NYC and soon visual art. After graduating from SVA, she exhibited in various venues curated by Kenny Schachter and Lisa Ryter and in group shows at Paula Cooper Gallery, Achim Kubinsky and Willoughby Sharp Gallery, among others.

Pacifica Quartet Performs

The Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival presents “Concerts: Pacifica String Quartet” on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 6 p.m. The concert will be held at Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church.

Closing in on a quarter-century of music making, the Pacifica Quartet brings its signature virtuosic and performance style to Bridgehampton for the first time. The program will consist of, Haydn “String Quartet in G major, Op. 76, No. 1 (1796-97),” Shostakovich “String Quartet No. 3 in F major, Op. 73 (1946)” and Beethoven “String Quartet in C major, Op. 59, No. 3 (1806).”
