Select Hamptons cultural non-profits have banded together to form the Hamptons Art Network and plan to present its first event in March 2018, announced the organization today. Operating under the acronym THAW FEST (The Hamptons Art Weekend), the one-weekend only event will take place from March 23 to 25, 2018.

The weekend will feature programming by the 19 organizations in the consortium, which are set across The Hamptons from Westhampton Beach to East Hampton, NY.

Participating in the new initiative are Bay Street Theater, Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival, Dan Flavin Art Institute, East Hampton Historical Society, Eastville Community Historical Society, Guild Hall, Hamptons International Film Festival, Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival, LongHouse Reserve, Madoo Conservancy, Parrish Art Museum, Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center, Shinnecock Nation Cultural Center & Museum, Southampton African American Museum, Southampton Arts Center, Southampton Cultural Center, Southampton Historical Museum, Watermill Center and the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center.

In some cases, the weekend will feature art exhibitions and programming that will be on view or were planned before the festival was hatched. In other cases, special programming has been developed to create a cultural buzz for the weekend. For full programming, click here.
