The Hamptons and East End Gallery Scene gets off to a slow start in January 2018 with new shows holding receptions and events unfolding in the second half of the month. Opening quietly (and without fanfare until later on) is a two-person show at Halsey Mckay in East Hampton that is part artist residency and part solo exhibition for a pair of artists. Also in East Hampton, a trio of artists are presented in a group show with the art woven together through a pop of color. In the meanwhile, read on to discover events at new gallery shows opening in The Hamptons, the North Fork and Riverhead this month.
