This weekend expect to find tons of music performances to attend throughout the Hamptons and East End. Bay Street Theater, Parrish Art Museum and Guild Hall all have events focused on music. "Young Frankenstein" Musical at The North Fork Community Theatre

"Young Frankenstein" (the musical) will be presented by The North Fork Community Theatre on Thursdays - Sundays, October 12 to 15, 19 to 22 and 26 to 29.

The musical "Young Frankenstein," is based on the 1974 comedic horror film with music and lyrics by Mel Brooks. Bob Kaplan directs the live production, which will be presented completely in black and white. The production is the first in North Fork Community Theatre's 60th anniversary season.

Tickets are $25 General Admission, or an optional donation. The North Fork Community Theatre is located at 12700 Old Sound Avenue, Mattituck, NY 11952.

SouthamptonFest Friday Night Kickoff Party

The Southampton Rotary Club presents the “SouthamptonFest Friday Night Kickoff Cocktail Party” on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Agawam Park, Southampton Village.

Nancy Atlas Project will perform and complimentary beer and wine will be provided from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with a cash bar from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Food will be available by local food trucks.

Radio Theater Comes Alive at the Vail-Leavitt

"Radio Theater Comes Alive" takes place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall.

As a part of “A Vail October,” an eight-day variety arts festival, Gotham Radio Theatre will present a recreation of 1930s-’40s radio theater. Expect Actors/audience member participation.

7th Annual SouthamptonFest

The 7th Annual “SouthamptonFest” will be held on Saturday, October 14 from noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 15 from noon to 4 p.m.

Events include free concerts in the park, a chowder contest, stage coach rides, the Harvest Day Fair at Southampton Historical Museum, live music in the streets, art vendors and art shows, local food, wine and craft beer and more.

Salon Series: Pianists Arianna Körting and Robin Giesbrecht

The Parrish Art Museum presents “Salon Series: Pianists Arianna Körting and Robin Giesbrecht” on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Salon Series offers intimate concerts with a new generation of classical musicians— this time with pianists, Arianna Körting and Robin Giesbrecht. The program will include music by: Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849), Franz Liszt (1811-1886), Claude Debussy (1862-1918), Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) and Franz Schubert (1797-1828).

Mozart Talk and Met: LIVE Screening at Guild Hall

Guild Hall presents the Opera Season Opener "Mozart in His Own Words," on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at noon.

The breakfast reception and presentation by Victoria Bond, composer, conductor, and opera scholar, will share letters from Mozart to his family about adventures with divas, divos, and impresarios. Bond will read and musically illustrate passages from Mozart’s correspondence. Tickets are $30 and $28 for members.

The Met: Live in HD - Mozart's DIE ZAUBERFLOTE” will be screened on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $22, $20 for members and $15 for students. Run Time: 3.5 hours. James Levine conducts Tony Award winner Julie Taymor’s production of Mozart’s masterpiece, “Die Zauberflöte.”

Judy Carmichael Performance at Bay Street

Bay Street Theater presents “Judy Carmichael – Sexy Songs and Lovely Laments” on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 8 p.m.

Grammy nominated pianist, vocalist, and songwriter, Judy Carmichael will be performing songs from her new CD "Can You Love Once More?" She will also be performing standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Fats Waller, and Peggy Lee and be accompanied by Harry Allen (tenor sax), Chris Flory (guitar) and Neal Minor (bass). Carmichael is popular with both jazz and cabaret audiences with her interpretations of the Great American Songbook, and equally hilarious, improvisational anecdotes.
