The Southampton Historical Museum presents the “Halsey House Gala 2017: Celebrating Southampton’s Oldest Home” on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.

This neighborly lawn party takes place at Southampton’s oldest home – The Thomas Halsey Homestead, established in 1648. Attendees to the 2017 “Sur la Plage” fundraiser will enjoy sunset cocktails amid a colonial landscape and herb garden. Inside the tent, enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres locally-sourced from farms and bays and music by DJ Twilo. A curated silent auction will also be held.

Parrish Art Midsummer Party

The Parrish Art Museum presents the “Midsummer Party” on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 7 p.m.

The annual event brings together over 500 artists, philanthropists, business leaders, and art world guests in support of the Parrish. Honorees include Agnes Gund and Clifford Ross. Honorary Co-Chairs are Jo Carole and Ronald S. Lauder and Dorothy Lichtenstein. Enjoy cocktails, dinner on the Mildred C. Brinn Terrace, live auction, and dancing in the Lichtenstein Theater for dinner guests, all presented at the art museum.

Bay Street Summer Gala

Bay Street Theater presents “The 26th Annual Summer Gala” on Saturday, July 15, 2017, located on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor, N.Y.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with VIP cocktails. A one-hour show will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with performances and presentations by leading stars of Broadway in the theater. Following the show, guests adjourn to a 250 foot-long tent on the Long Wharf. Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and silent auction follow as does a seated dinner, live auction, entertainment, dancing and more.

"Art for the Cinema Auction" will hold a gallery walk of sorts on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the galleries of Sag Harbor Village. Designed as a fundraiser for the rebuilding of Sag Harbor Cinema, art available for sale through a Paddle8 auction will be installed in six galleries along Main Street and Madison Street in Sag Harbor. Participating galleries include Grenning Gallery, Romany Kramoris Gallery, Keyes Art at Christy's Art Center, Monika Olko Gallery, Sara Nightingale Gallery and Tulla Booth Gallery.

The auction has 95 artists participating. They include Alice Aycock, Mary Ellen Bartley, Ross Bleckner, James Croak, Eric Fischl, Cornelia Foss, Margaret Garrett, April Gornik, Mary Heilmann, Bryan Hunt, Mel Kendrick, Laurie Lambrecht, Stephen Longmire, Paton Miller, Hollis Rafkin-Sax, Dan Rizzie, Toni Ross, Cindy Sherman, Billy Sullivan, and Lucy Winton.

East Hampton Antiques Show Benefit Preview Party

The East Hampton Historical Society hosts the East Hampton Antiques Show Benefit Preview Party on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the grounds of the Mulford Farm in East Hampton, N.Y. The Antiques Show itself will be held there on Saturday, July 22, and Sunday, July 23, 2017.

Interior Designer Tom Samet is the Honorary Chairperson of the Preview Cocktail Party, which offers patrons an early buying opportunity for the array of antiques, art, jewelry and collectibles presented at the East Hampton Antiques Show, now in its 11th year. Hampton Designer Showhouse Gala Preview Cocktail Party

Hampton Designer Showhouse's Gala Preview Cocktail Party takes place on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. to open the design event. Proceeds will benefit Southampton Hospital.

The Hampton Designer Showhouse 2017, now in its seventeenth year, will feature over 30 top interior designers and decorative artists from the Hamptons, New York City and nationwide. The 24th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit & Auction

The Watermill Center presents “FLY INTO THE SUN: The 24th Annual Summer Benefit & Auction” on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 6 p.m. to midnight.

The evening will be Honoring Laurie Anderson and Isabelle Huppert and a Tribute to Lou Reed. A highlight of the Hamptons summer benefit circuit, guests enter another world when walking upon the grounds of the Watermill Center. Conceived by founder and artistic director Robert Wilson and International ​Summer Program participants from multiple disciplines, the annual benefit unites art, performance, music, theatre, design, architecture and fashion. All funds raised support The Center’s year-round Artist Residency and Education Program.

One talked-about highlight is the durational performances unfolding during the cocktail hour that are across the grounds. The benefit also features cocktails, performances, silent auction, art installations, dinner, live auction, more performances, dancing and dessert. The dress code is “dark shiny matter.”
