The solo show by Mary Montes features abstract expressionistic figures of the artists of the New York School during the mid to late 20th century. ASHAWAGH HALL - The Springs Mystery Art Sale takes place from Thursday, May 11 through Saturday, May 13, 2017. A Closing Party takes place on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Live Auction at 5 p.m. A Festival of the Arts with free art workshops takes place the same afternoon from noon to 4 p.m. The exhibition features over 1000 5 x 7 inch artworks by Springs School students, artists and celebrities. The pieces will be sold anonymously for $20 each, signed only on the back. Proceeds will support the Springs School Visiting Artist Program.
