SOUTHAMPTON ARTS CENTER - "East End Collected3" has an Opening Reception on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. Curated by artist Paton Miller, the exhibition features a fresh line up of around 34 artists working on the East End. Included in the show are Arthur Carter, Eric Dever, Brian Farrell, Laurie Lambrecht, María Schön, Eileen Dawn Skretch, Dinah Maxwell Smith, Sarah Jaffe Turnbull, Frank Wimberley and others. ASHAWAGH HALL - "The Seventh Annual Art Groove 2017” has an Opening Reception on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 6 to 11 p.m. at Ashawagh Hall. The Reception includes live music by Indie Rock Group "#9" featuring John Jinks on guitar, followed by “The King Bees” featuring Frank Latorre and music by DJ G-Funk. A graphics video by John Jinks, will be viewed on the outside of Ashawagh Hall at dusk.
The group show features the artwork of 14 contemporary artists including Barbara Bilotta, Nadine Daskaloff, Anahi DeCanio, Gerry Gilberti, Dan Gonzales & Raun Norquist, Frank Latorre, Geralyne Lewandowski, Michael McDowell, Joyce Riamondo, Cynthia Sobel, Ursula Thomas, Hans Van de Bovenkamp, Charles Waller and Lewis Zacks. ASHAWAGH HALL - eARThHAMPTONS takes place from April 21 to 23, 2017 and features an art exhibition and events designed to celebrate art, design, environment and community. On Friday, April 21, 2017, The Wealth Report, created by Knight Frank Residential with Douglas Elliman, will be at the center of rebroadcast of a panel discussion of experts, screened at Ashawagh Hall at 6 p.m. Immediately following, photographer and journalist Dawn Watson will lead a discussion on the implications of the report for the luxury market with event organizer, artist and real estate broker Anahi DeCanio. RJD GALLERY - "The Eighth Annual Hamptons Juried Art Show: In The Mix" has an Opening Reception on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. The juried exhibition presents art selected from an Open Call.
