While RJD Gallery's Sag Harbor location perished in a fire, the gallery itself is alive and well and preparing to open its new location in Bridgehampton, NY. The gallery will open with one of its annual traditions: the "Hamptons Juried Art Show." The eight edition of the juried open call art show will be the first exhibition held in their new Bridgehampton location. Art work sales, as always, benefit The Retreat.

Art work is now being accepted for the juried exhibition. Artists can submit two to five artwork images for consideration through March 17, 2017. The exhibition opens on April 22, 2017 and remains on view through May 19, 2017 at RJD Gallery. A Submission Fee of $50 per entry applies. Submissions are open to painting, works on paper, photography and sculpture (no video art).

Past editions of the "Hamptons Juried Art Show" have garnered submissions from around the globe. RJD's new gallery in Bridgehampton is larger than its Sag Harbor gallery so the 2017 may represent an expansion over prior exhibitions.

Artists exhibiting in the art show benefiting The Retreat have included Mary Chiaramonte, Janet Culbertson, Sylvia Hommert, Michael McLaughlin, Bruce Milne, Eve Stuart, Charles Yoder, Kat O’Neill, Jerry Schwabe, Kerry Sharkey-Miller, Laura Benjamin, Ann Brandeis, Philippe Chen and many others.
