The results are in and tallied for Hamptons Art Hub's "From the Earth" Open Call Art Competition. Applications were received from four continents and five countries. From the United States, artists applied from 13 states. They include New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Texas, Arizona, California and Washington. International entries were received from Canada, Syria, Australia and Malaysia.

Judging our "From the Earth" competition was Christine Berry, co-director of Berry Campbell gallery in Chelsea in New York. All work was viewed online only.

In addition to selecting artist winners for the Contest, Best in Fine Art and Best in Photography, art was selected for an online only exhibition. Click here to see the online exhibition. Congratulations to all!

The Best Overall Artwork selected for the Hamptons Art Hub "From the Earth" Call for Art will receive a review written by Hamptons Art Hub staff or an artist profile written by Pat Rogers, an award-winning writer and publisher of Hamptons Art Hub. First Place Category Winners will be awarded a free Directory Listing at Hamptons Art Hub to showcase their art for one year. Honorable Mentions receive a Facebook Page feature that's highlighted on our website and through social media.

BASIC FACTS: Hamptons Art Hub's Open Call - "From the Earth" is our third art competition. A heartfelt thank you is extended to our judge, Christine Berry, who gave her time and expertise to ensure our competition received the critic examination the artwork submitted deserved.

Hamptons Art Hub will sponsor two Open Call Art Competitions in 2017. The theme and submission details will be announced in January 2017.
