With the arrival of the month of June comes the official start to summer and the Hamptons benefit season. All of the listed events in our round up ensures a good time while helping to raise money for Hamptons and East End programs and non-profits. Now that summer is almost here, weekends will start to book up quick. On the benefit circuit, June 25, 2016 is especially busy making for some tough choices.

June 17 & 18, 2016 (Friday and Saturday)

Much Ado About Madoo

“The 6th Annual Much Ado About Madoo” will take place on Friday, June 17 through Saturday, June 18, 2016. This year, Madoo is celebrating 50 years of organic gardening. 

The Garden Cocktail and Market Preview will take place on Friday, June 17, 2016. Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan will be the honorary chairmen of the Garden Cocktail Party. Preview the Market Fair and enjoy the grounds of Madoo. Jamie Niven, chairman of Sotheby’s Inc. wields the gavel for the Live Auction. In the summerhouse studio Garden, a suite of six lithographs by Robert Dash with lines by James Schuyler from 1972 will be exhibited.

The Garden Market will be open to the public on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Over 25 dealers offering plants, home and garden accessories, garden antiques and treats will be present. A portion of all of your purchases benefits the Madoo Conservancy.

Tickets for the Cocktail Party and Market Preview are $150 for members and $200 for non-members. Tickets for the Garden Market are free for members and $20 for non-members. The Madoo Conservancy is located at 618 Sagg Main St, Sagaponack, NY 11962. www.madoo.org.

Holiday House Hamptons Opening Night White Party

“The HHH Opening Night White Party” will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The designers Thom Filicia, Robert Stilin and Vicente Wolf will host the white-themed party to celebrate the third annual Holiday House Hamptons, which will showcase summer living in a 13,000-square-foot show house in Water Mill.

Individual tickets starts at $350. The 2016 Showhouse is located at 100 Crescent Avenue, Water Mill South, NY 11967.

Holiday House Hamptons will be open to the public June 19 to July 26, 2016, Thursdays through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Thursdays until 8 p.m. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Admission is $35 and can be purchased online or at the door. www.holidayhousehamptons.com

June 25, 2016 (Saturday)

20th Annual Hamptons Heart Ball

“The 20th Annual Hamptons Heart Ball” will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Hayground School.

Heart Ball is one of the premier American Heart Association fundraising events both locally and across the nation. The evening celebrates the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s countless efforts. An elegant and diverse representation of the corporate, medical and social communities from the Hamptons, Long Island and New York City celebrating the community’s support of the life-saving mission of the American Heart Association. A live and silent auction will take place.

21st Annual All Against Abuse Summer Gala

“The 21st Annual All Against Abuse Summer Gala” will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Ross School Lower Campus in Bridgehampton. The theme this year is “A Night in Monte Carlo.”

Enjoy cocktails, cuisine by Cynthia Battaglia of Distinctive Catering, dancing, music by DJ MKL of Jarrell Entertainment, live and silent auctions, raffles and more. The evening will honor Dr. Joseph O’Connell. The Retreat’s mission is to provide safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse and to break the cycle of family violence. In pursuit of their mission, The Retreat annually provides help for thousands of families.

Sylvester Manor Farm to Table Dinner 

“The Sylvester Manor Farm to Table Dinner” will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 6 to 11 p.m. at Sylvester Manor in Shelter Island.

Fire Roasted Caterers will bring their hand-forged grills from Berkshire, Massachusetts to cook the entire menu by hand, over open flames (with wood salvaged from the Manor’s ground). Enjoy a menu highlighted by the farm's produce and Shelter Island venison. Then, the Grammy-nominated band The Revelers will perform for a night filled with dancing. This fundraiser will support the Sylvester Manor.

East End Hospice’s Sail Into Summer Gala

The East End Hospice’s Sail Into Summer Gala” will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Sandacres Estate in Quogue.

The evening will include cocktails and dinner by Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs, music by the Times Square Orchestra, dancing, casino games, and a silent auction, all while benefiting a great, local cause. East End Hospice provides care and comfort for terminally ill patients, their families and love ones in our communities on the North and South Forks of Long Island.

Jazz for Jennings Brunch and Concert

“The Jazz for Jennings Brunch and Concert” will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at noon at the Watermill Center

Support the kids and families at the Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center, by continuing Peter Jennings’ commitment to our community. Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful music, great food and spectacular surroundings.

"Eileen's Angels Art & Tree Auction" takes place on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Secret Garden of Landscape details in Sag Harbor.

This fundraiser benefits Project MOST After School Programs. The event includes an art & tree auction, food, cocktails, live music and dancing.
