Art and culture lovers will have plenty of options in the Hamptons & East End over the next two weeks. Our picks include an arts festival, tons of live music, a theater production, fundraisers and galas, a digital art demonstration and more. 1. Springs School Festival of the Arts
Elementary school students of the Springs School team up with artists of the area to present a Festival of the Arts at Ashawagh Hall on Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate artists of The Springs of all ages. A mini silent mystery art auction includes work by Randall Rosenthal, Barbara Groot, Sydney Albertini, Janet Jennings, David Geiser, Paton Miller, Gabrielle Raacke and others. A student art exhibition will also be on display. A tree planting honoring Springs artist Ralph Carpentier (1929-2016) takes place at 11 a.m.
The Festival of the Arts includes artist workshops, drumming circles, ukelele lessons, acting classes and performances by the Spring School's jazz band and chorus that unfold from noon to 4 p.m. For questions, contact The Springs School at 631-324-0144.

2. Fifth Annual Douglas Moore Organ Concert
The Fifth Annual Douglas Moore Organ Concert takes place on Saturday, May 14 at 3 p.m. at Cutchogue Presbyterian Church.
This year's concert features up-and-coming Juilliard School students Patrick Kreeger and Daniel Ficarri. The event is named after Composer Douglas Stuart Moore, an organist born in Cutchogue in 1893.

3. Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival Concert
Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival presents its final Spring Concert for the spring season on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church.
The concert's program provides a snapshot of the development of classical music. The concert includes Haydn’s early London trio, Mozart’s C major trio and Schubert’s E-flat major trio.

4. Parlor Jazz Concert at the Bridgehampton Museum
A Parlor Jazz Concert Featuring Houston Person takes place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Museum.
Tenor Saxophonist Houston Person is back by popular demand for a musical performance titled Let's Fall in Love.

5. Production of Little Shop of Horrors
Student actors of STAGES present "Little Shop of Horrors" on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Bay Street Theater.
Helene Leonard directs and choreographs Stages’ production of Little Shop of Horrors, the comedic 50's sci-fi inspired musical featuring a man-eating exotic plant. This production features local young actors and Amanda Jones and James Benard as the musical accompaniment.

6. Peconic Bay Medical Center's Annual Spring Gala
Peconic Bay Medical Center holds its 2016 Spring Gala on May 14, 2016 at the Suffolk Theatre in Riverhead.
The gala includes a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, an auction and The Great East End car raffle. Featured entertainment are the band, The Lords of 52nd Street, and the comedian Caroline Rhea.

7. 21st Annual Fauna-thon Fundraiser
Group for the East End presents the 21st Annual Fauna-thon Fundraiser all day on Saturday, May 21, 2016 across the East End.
Group For The East End staffers and friends will wander across the East End searching for mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, and dragonflies. Their record is 266 species. Attendees are invited to join one of the group's teams, make their own teams or pledge a donation to support the group's environmental education programs.

8. Tideland Sessions: A Day of Talks and Performances
"Tideland Sessions" takes place on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at The Parrish Art Museum.
Organized in conjunction with the exhibition "Radical Seafaring," this marthon series of talks and performances unites artists, writers, scientists, and historians in conversations about environmental stewardship with a focus on the regional landscape. To get primed for the event, head to the art galleries of Parrish Art Museum to explore the radical actions of artists taken over the years as they take to the waterways to demonstrate the ways human and environmental concerns are linked in the exhibition "Radical Seafaring." 9. Digital Art Demonstration With Roz Dimon
"Digital Art: A New Dimension in Storytelling - A Demonstration With Roz Dimon" takes place on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 3 p.m.
Roz Dimon will demonstrate the creative process behind her multi-layered digital drawings and paintings and discuss digital art in general to illuminate this new art genre. Dimon began her digital art journey by using four colors on an IBM (1984) and today works with a complex interactive painting technique developed by the artist herself.

10. Piano Performance & Conversation With Judy Carmichael & Billy Stritch
"Jazz Inspired" with Judy Carmichael & Billy Strich takes place on Saturday, May 21 at 8 p.m. at Bay Street Theater.
Pianist/vocalist Judy Carmichael and pianist/vocalist Billy Stritch will play, sing and talk about their lives in music. This is the first time the two musicans perform together. Carmichael will later broadcast the conversation and concert on her public radio show, "Jazz Inspired" on SiriusXM NPR on Channel 122.

11. Flamenco Jazz with Grammy Winner Ottmar Liebert
Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra perform on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 8 p.m. at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center.
The five-time Grammy nominee Ottmar Liebert is known for his engaging mix of subdued flamenco guitar with South American percussion, rock, jazz, and pop influences. Popular albums “Barcelona Nights,” “Nouveau Flamenco” and “Borrasca” have earned Liebert 38 Gold and Platinum certifications in the United States and more internationally.
