There are plenty of things to do in the Hamptons and East End in the upcoming weeks. Our list includes film, live music, dance, wine tasting and more. Following is our list of stand-out events and things to do in The Hamptons, the North Fork and on the East End of Long Island through April 24, 2016.

1. Screening of "Barista" at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

"Barista" screens on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center as part of the World Cinema Film Series. The documentary directed by Rock Baijnauth features the efforts of five top baristas to push the limits of coffee perfection to win the National Barista Championship, a surreal and intense competition. A complementary Pour-Over Coffee Brew Bar will be open to filmgoers beginning at 6:30 p.m.

2. Record Store Day at Innersleeve Records

Record Store Day begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Innersleeve Records. Record Store Day is an international celebration of the unique culture of independently owned record stores and the roles they play in their communities. This year's event at Innersleeve featureds live bands, WEHM​ radio broadcast, DJ sets and exclusive new vinyl releases made available only that day. The Glazzies will perform at 11:30 a.m. followed by Memphis Crawl at 12:30 p.m. At 3 p.m. MCA will DJ followed by Mister Lama and a rotating cast of mystery DJs.

3. Winemaker Barrel Tasting and Tour at Diliberto Winery

A Winemaker Barrel Tasting and Tour takes place on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 11 a.m. to noon. The event begins with a tour of the winemaking facility where guests can learn about the process and history of winemaking. Winemaker Salvatore Diliberto will host a tasting of wine straight from the barrel. A three-wine tasting flight in the tasting room follows the tour.

4. Metropolitan Opera Screened Live in HD at Guild Hall

Donizetti’s Roberto Devereux screens live on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Guild Hall. The story follows Queen Elizabeth I, forced to sign the death warrant of nobleman Roberto Devereux, whom she loves. Soprano Sondra Radvanovsky plays the Queen, Tenor Matthew Polenzani plays Devereux and mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča and baritone Mariusz Kwiecien complete the principal quartet. The piece is conducted by Donizetti specialist Maurizio Benini and directed by Sir David McVicar.

5. Parlor Jazz Concert with Hilary Gardner at Bridgehampton Museum

The concert program, "The Great City" by Hilary Gardner will be presented on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at Bridgehampton Museum. Vocalist Hilary Gardner will team up with alto saxophonist John Ludlow for a musical tribute to New York City. The concert features Jane Hastay on piano and Peter Martin Weiss on bass.

6. Spring Fling Benefit at The Parrish Art Museum

The Parrish Art Museum's annual spring benefit, "Spring Fling", will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at The Parrish Art Museum. Spring Fling benefit helps support the Museum’s year-round education programs for children. The event includes live music by NOIZ, hors d'oeuvres and an open bar by Southampton Social Club, a silent auction and the opportunity to win prizes in the Museum's annual Gallery Hunt, which takes attendees deep into the museum to search for clues and visual treasures.

7. A Day of Documentary Screenings Presented by Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival

"Spring Doc Day" takes place on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Bay Street Theater. Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival presents screenings of three documentaries and an all-day silent auction to celebrate "the joy of spring & the love of all living creatures." The silent auction begins at noon. "The Internet Cat Video Festivalscreens at 1 p.m. followed by "The Championsat 3 p.m. and "The Messengerat 5:30 p.m.

8. Meet the Artists in Residence at Guild Hall

Guild Hall presents AIR Works on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. The public is invited to meet The Artists in Residence (AIR) at Guild Hall. There will be short films, readings, and a multimedia performance, followed by a Q&A. 2016 Artists in Residence include Jennifer Hsu and James Wang, Arcmanoro Niles, ‪Iris Smyles and Tom Yuill.

9. Opening Reception: 78th Annual Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition 

An Opening Reception for Guild Hall's 78th Annual Artist Members Exhibition takes place on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. The Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition is the oldest non-juried museum exhibition on Long Island and one of the few non-juried exhibitions still offered. The Top Honor is a solo show in the Museum’s Spiga Gallery. Prizes will be also awarded at the opening reception in the following categories: Best Abstract, Best Mixed Media, Best Representational, Best Work on Paper, Best Photograph, Best Sculpture, $250 Catherine and Theo Hios Landscape Award, Best New Member and numerous Honorable Mentions.
