The results are in from Hamptons Art Hub's "Art Inspired by Water" open call for fine art and fine art photography inspired by water. We received entries from four continents and five countries so competition was fierce. In response to the high quality of the submissions, we sought the expertise of three art world professionals to judge our competition.

Stepping in to judge our "Art Inspired by Water" competition was Museum Director and Chief Curator Christina Mossaides Strassfield of Guild Hall Museum in East Hampton, NY; Gallerist Kathryn Markel of Kathryn Markel Fine Arts in New York City and Bridgehampton, NY; and Gallerist and fine art photographer Robin Rice of Robin Rice Gallery in New York City.

Kathryn Markel judged the Fine Art Section; Robin Rice judged the Fine Art Photography Section and Christina Mossaides Strassfield judged both. As a result, Hamptons Art Hub is awarding Artist Winners and Honorable Mentions selected by each judge instead of one winner per section. All work was viewed online only.

In addition, each judge selected their top 10 artworks. Click here to discover the artists selected and view our online sideshow exhibitions curated by each judge. Congratulations to all!

The artist winners of Hamptons Art Hub's "Art Inspired by Water" open call competition follows.

Artist Winners receive an artist profile or review written by Hamptons Art Hub staff and published by Hamptons Art Hub.com. All Honorable Mentions receive an Artist Directory or Photography Directory Listing for one year as a way to keep their art in front our readers.
