The Photography Show, presented by AIPAD, will move from its long-standing home at the Park Avenue Armory to Pier 94 for its 2017 edition. The Photography Show will be held from March 30 – April 2, 2017, with an Opening Night Preview on March 29, 2017. The fair, which focuses on fine art photography presented by galleries and dealers around the world, will also be presented earlier than expected in 2017.
For 2016, the 36th edition of The Photography Show will take place from April 14-17, 2016 at the Park Avenue Armory, where it has been held since 2006. Presented by the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD), the fair is the longest-running fair dedicated to the photographic medium. The Show kicks off with an Opening Night Preview held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m.
For its 36th edition, 86 photography galleries will present work that includes contemporary, modern, documentation and photojournalism, 19th century photographs as well as photo-based art, video and new media. Exhibitors include Catherine Edelman Gallery (Chicago); ClampArt (New York); Danziger Gallery (New York); HackelBury Fine Art (London); Harper's Books (East Hampton & New York); Howard Greenberg Gallery (New York); Jackson Fine Art (Atlanta); Klompching Gallery (Brooklyn); Michael Dawson Gallery (Los Angeles); Robert Klein Gallery (Boston), Verve Gallery of Photography (Santa Fe); Yancey Richardson Gallery (New York) and others.
