There are plenty of art and culture events taking place this weekend in the Hamptons and East End. The Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival kicks off today and continues with screenings through Sunday. Cultural events abound in Greenport in conjunction with the 4th Annual Shellebration Benefit. Read on for exhibition openings, talks, concerts, holiday markets and more.

BRIDGEHAMPTON

Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival begins today and continues through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. Nearly 30 documentaries will screen with a Q&A after each film and an audience award. Emceeing the Q&As are broadcast personality and drama director Bonnie Grice and arts writer/actor/director Andrew Botsford. A Gala honoring Stanley Nelson will be held on Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. Film Tickets are $15 each. Admission to the Gala is $45. THE WHITE ROOM GALLERY - "Kimberly Goff, Daniel Schoenheimer & Sally Breen" has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through December 27. Kimberly Goff will show mixed media collages, silk scarf blouses & tunics, jackets assembled with fabrics from around the world and more. Daniel Schoenheimer will show local landscape photography. Sally Breen will show her interpretations of the sea and sky. EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS

GUILD HALL - “Gallery Talk with Photographer Walter Weissman” takes place on Saturday at 10 a.m. Weissman’s works remain on view at Guild Hall through February 21, 2016. Admission is free. Guild Hall is located at 158 Main Street, East Hampton, NY 11937. www.guildhall.org.

GREENPORT

4th Annual Greenport Shellebration takes place on Saturday and Sunday at participating restaurants throughout Greenport. The restaurant walk features oysters, clams, scallops, and beer and wine. The event benefits Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County's stewardship based Back to the Bays Initiative and the community based shellfish restoration initiatives of the SPAT Program. PECONIC LANDING - "The Harbor Bells" will perform on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The musical performance includes traditional holiday favorites. Admission is free.

"Live in HD: Hamlet" takes place on Sunday at 3 p.m. The event is presented by Peconic Landing, The National Theatre, and BY Experience. Admission is $20. Registration is required.

SIRENS' SONG GALLERY - "Vitamin Sea: Wave 2" has an Opening Reception on Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through December 20. Work on view includes photography, intaglio & relief prints, painting, sculpture, book arts and usable & wearable art. Participating artists include JoAnne Dumas, Alison Perry, Anneli Arms and Caroline Waloski. 10% of proceeds support Cornell Cooperative Extension's Marine Program. SOUTH STREET GALLERY - "Ninth Annual 10 x 10 = 100 Art Show" has a Preview on Friday from noon to 6 p.m. The sale begins on Saturday at 6 p.m. On view are 10 x 10 inch works on wood on sale for $100 each. RIVERHEAD

EAST END ARTS at RIVERHEAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH - “Chamber Ensemble Concert” takes place on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The East End Arts Chamber Ensemble comprised of six selected student musicians who have been rehearsing together in this tuition-free fellowship program. SUFFOLK COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY - “Fifth Annual Wooden Wonderland” takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Holiday Show & Sale features hand-crafted carvings and wooden items and other gifts as well as carving and woodworking demonstrations. PARRISH ART MUSEUM - "The Hamptons get Mortified, Vol. 2" takes place on Friday at 6 p.m. Selected presenters will read embarrassing personal journal entries, letters and poems from childhood at the live stage show. Admission is $10, free for members. RSVP is recommended. 

“Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the seven permanent collection galleries. Free with museum admission. Reservations suggested.
