BRIDGEHAMPTON

SILAS MARDER GALLERY - Book Signing, Lecture and Exhibition Reception

U.K. garden designer Arne Maynard Lecture, Book Signing & Reception takes place in conjunction with his new book The Gardens of Arne Maynard. The Friday Lecture is sold out but the book signing and reception is open to the public, following the 4 p.m. talk. On Saturday, a second lecture will be held at 2 p.m. where Maynard discusses the 12 garden designs in his book. Both events take place in the Silas Marder Gallery. ALEX FERRONE PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY - “Small Works Exhibit 2015” has am Opening Reception on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through February 15, 2016. EAST HAMPTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY - “2015 House & Garden Tour” has a Benefit Preview Party on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of Mr.  and Mrs. Elie Hirschfeld. Tickets to the party start at $200, which includes admission o the self-guided house and garden tour the following day from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets to the tour alone cost $65 in advance, $75 on the day. TRIPOLI GALLERY - “11th Annual Thanksgiving Collective” has a Preview Reception on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Gallery’s East Hampton Location. A Grand Opening will be held on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Southampton Location and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Southampton Arts Center. An After Party will be held at Southampton Arts Center from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. The exhibition remains on view through January 31 and is split between Tripoli Gallery’s East Hampton and Southampton locations and the Southampton Arts Center. QUOGUE GALLERY - “Arthur Pinajian (1914-1999): Works on Paper” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through December 31, 2015. WATER MILL

PARRISH ART MUSEUM - "Hamptons Holiday Party" takes place on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. with live music, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and book signings by New York Times food critic Florence Fabricant, artist April Gornik, and fashion industry expert Fern Mallis. Proceeds support the Parrish’s year-round programs. Tickets start at $150 for museum members. 

“Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the seven permanent collection galleries. Free with museum admission. Reservations suggested.
