EAST HAMPTON/SPRINGS

GUILD HALL - “Operatif Pre-Opera Lecture by Victoria Bond” takes place on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Composer and Conductor Victoria Bond will present a pre-broadcast lecture on Berg's “LULU.” Tickets are $30.

“The Met: Live in HD - Berg’s LULU” takes place on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Artist and director William Kentridge presents his vision of Berg’s “LULU.” The performance is a co-production of the Metropolitan Opera, Dutch National Opera, and English National Opera.

“Gallery Talk With Cornelia Foss” takes place on Sunday at noon. Guild Hall Museum Director/Chief Curator Christina Strassfield interviews Artist Cornelia Foss in the Woodhouse Gallery. “Cornelia Foss” is on view through January 3, 2016. Admission is free.

FLANDERS

EAST END ART’S 29th Annual Harvest Gospel Concert Series takes place today (Thursday) through Saturday. Concerts take place on November 19 at the Mattituck Presbyterian Church, on November 20 at the Hamptons United Methodist Church in Southampton, and on November 21 at the Friendship Baptist Church in Flanders. The three-evening series of free concerts features the Harvest Gospel Choir and special guest soloists, led by Artistic Director of 29 years, Reverend Maryanne McElroy. ROSALIE DIMON GALLERY - “Scott McIntire & Madeline Daversa" has a Reception on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through February 3, 2016. McIntire will present vibrant enamel paintings with photorealist pop art, and abstract roots. Daversa will show prints of farm landscapes featuring the presence of the worker. PARRISH ART MUSEUM - “Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the seven permanent collection galleries. WESTHAMPTON BEACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - “Citizen Cope Performance” takes place on Saturday at 8 p.m. Singer/songwriter Citizen Cope (a.k.a. Clarence Greenwood) will present a solo acoustic performance. Ticket Prices are set at $111, $96, or $81. $1.00 of every ticket purchased will go to purchasing musical instruments for students at Red Lake Middle School in Red Lake, MN.
