ALEX FERRONE PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY - “Taste North Fork Photographers Talks” take place on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. As a part of Taste North Fork 2015, photographers will give free mini Gallery Talks at the gallery. GUILD HALL - “Gallery Talk with Artist Stephanie Brody-Lederman and Museum Director/Chief Curator Christina Strassfield” takes place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free. Stephanie Brody-Lederman’s works are on view at Guild Hall through January 3, 2016.

“Gallery Talk with Christina Strassfield and Photographer Walter Weissman” takes place on Monday at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free. Weissman’s work in on view at Guild Hall through February 21, 2016.

PECONIC LANDING - “Lecture by Michael P. Dyer” takes place on Saturday at 3 p.m. Whaling Curator Michael P. Dyer will discuss David G. Floyd’s whaling career through a lecture titled “Tuthill’s Memorial: Tragedy and Triumph in Greenport’s Whaling Heyday, 1833-1860.” The event is presented by Brecknock Hall Foundation and Southold Historical Society. PARRISH ART MUSEUM - “Brain Food: Jane Freilicher and Jane Wilson: Seen and Unseen” takes place today at noon. Curator Alicia G. Longwell will present an illustrated talk on the exhibition. Admission is $10, free for members, children and students.

“Home Sweet Home Movies” screen on Friday at 6 p.m. Historic home movies submitted by local residents and set on the East End will be screened in celebration of the 375th Anniversary of Southampton Town. Admission is $10, free for members, children and students.

“Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the seven permanent collection galleries. Free with museum admission. Reservations suggested.

SARA NIGHTINGALE GALLERY - “Cara Enteles: Mirrors in the Garden” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through December 14. Enteles will present recent paintings exploring the impossibility of symmetry and order in nature.

“Stephanie Brody-Lederman: Out Gallivanting” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Brody-Lederman will show her paintings and mixed media works that combine her visual observations with text inspired by conversations, poetry and other sources. The exhibition is presented by Karyn Mannix.
