It's a big weekend for art in The Hamptons and the East End. Both art museums open new exhibitions this weekend. Guild Hall opens a quartet of new shows and a duo opens at The Parrish. On the North Fork, expect to find film screenings and an art auction featuring area artists. Meanwhile, there are exhibition openings, live music and more events to choose from this weekend on the Eastern End of Long Island.
BRIDGEHAMPTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY - "Harvest Season Celebration" fundraiser takes place on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Galban Barn in Sagaponack. EAST END ARTS at PECONIC LANDING - “Screening and Discussion: Alive Inside” takes place on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Speaker Robin Lombardo will discuss the impact of music on memory. Admission is free.
