ASHAWAGH HALL - “Plein Air Peconic X” has an Opening Reception on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. On Sunday, a Meet the Artists Coffee takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The exhibition is on view on October 10 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on October 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Artists of Plein Air Peconic are presenting this exhibition in celebration of ten years of creating artwork that spreads the word about the importance of land conservation. PARRISH ART MUSEUM - “Brain Food: Terrie Sultan on Andreas Gursky: Landscapes” takes place today at noon. “Salon Series: Soyeon Kate Lee” takes place on Friday at 6 p.m. The intimate concert includes a program spanning 150 years of Western music. Admission is $20, $10 for members.
“Guided Tour of the Permanent Collection” takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 3 p.m. The docent-led tour features highlights from the seven permanent collection galleries. Free with museum admission. Reservations suggested.
