Sara Nightingale Gallery is pleased to announce that Louise Fischer of Kontrast (Curated Danish Design) will team up with the gallery for a weekend-only project integrating her Danish products with contemporary art from the gallery stable. Please join us from 12 - 7 p.m. this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (September 18 - 20, 2015). A Toast/Skål will be held on Saturday night from 5 - 7 p.m.

Kontrast will present designs from By Lassen, a classic Danish family company whose products look fresh and inviting within all types of interiors. By Lassen owns the rights to the designs of two of Denmark's greatest architects - Mogens Lassen (1901-1987) and Flemming Lassen (1902-1984).
The Lassen brothers were extremely talented and were honored with many awards and grants for their unique designs and iconic architecture. By Lassen's mission is to carry the Lassen legacy forward because good design lives on through new generations. Kontrast loves the products for their clean yet distinct look and their versatility of use.

A curated selection of contemporary art from Sara Nightingale Gallery was selected to compliment the designs on view. The artists are American contemporary artists. Presenting work will be Brian O'Leary, Perry Burns, Malin Abrahamsson and Bill Armstrong.
