If you're looking for exhibitions in New York City with a Hamptons connection, there are plenty to find this fall. We've put together a short list of shows exhibited in New York City art galleries and museums. Each exhibition features an artist who works (or worked) in The Hamptons or North Fork.
1. "Roy Lichtenstein: Greene Street Mural" at Gagosian Gallery
September 10 to October 17, 2015
Opening Reception: September 10 from 6 to 8 p.m.
If the reproduced Roy Lichtenstein mural in Guild Hall's current exhibition is a favorite, you're in luck. Gagosian is recreating another Roy Lichtenstein mural moment in the form of the 1983 Greene Street Mural. Originally created and exhibited at Leo Castelli, Roy Lichtenstein painted the mural and destroyed it weeks later to demonstrate the impermanence of the medium.
At Gagosian, the mural will be replicated in full-scale based on documentation supplied by Lichtenstein's studio assistant at the time, Rob McKeever. The mural is being painted under McKeever's supervision. Like the original, the 2015 version will be destroyed at the end of the exhibition.
Gagosian Gallery is located at 555 West 24th Street, New York, NY 10011. www.gagosian.com.

2. "Dan Flavin: Corners, Barriers and Corridors" at David Zwirner
September 10 to October 24, 2015.
Opening Reception: September 10 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Dan Flavin's work is the subject of two solo shows: one in The Hamptons and another in NYC at David Zwirner. In the Dan Flavin Institute in Bridgehampton, "Dan Flavin: icons" presents a series of works that connect Flavin's early art practice in painting and sculpture to the sculptures in light that he became known for.
At David Zwirner, sculptural forms that formed the core of Dan Flavin's art practice will be exhibited in "Dan Flavin: Corners, Barriers and Corridors. The show presents significant “corner,” “barrier” and “corridor” works from the late 1960s and early 1970s by Dan Flavin and relates thematically to the 1973 show at the Saint Louis Art Museum "corners, barriers and corridors in fluorescent light from Dan Flavin".
The exhibition examines the ways Flavin established and redefined space through light constructions using the three formats that were integral to his art practice.
David Zwirner is located at 525 W 19th St, New York, NY 10011. www.davidzwirner.com.
3. "Agathe Snow: Coyote Ugly" at Albertz Benda
September 10 to September 26, 2015
Live Performances by Agathe Snow on Wednedays at 7 p.m. and on Saturday at 4 p.m. Held September 12, 16, 19 and 23, 2015.
If you missed Agathe Snow's dance party and film debut at MoMA, here's your chance to connect with new work by Snow as it unfolds. "Agathe Snow: Coyote Ugly" takes on the immigrant experience to reveal the mosaic of experiences surrounding the American Dream and life as an undocumented American immigrant through art and performance.
Aimed to explore and present a full answer to the question "What is survival?", the art springs from Snow's own experiences as a former undocumented immigrant and her observations of others. Contributing to participatory aspect of the show, the gallery is divided with winding walls to create blind passages that may or may not be a thoroughfare. Immigrants are invited to share their stories with Snow to create a new unique tapestry: answers to questions will switched around to form new pairings as the project unwinds.
"Agathe Snow: Coyote Ugly" inaugurates the new project space of Albertz Benda. Snow is based in New York City and The North Fork.
Albertz Benda is located at 515 W 26th St, New York, NY 10001. www.albertzbenda.com.
